I just thought I would say “Hi” from Chemotherapy. This is my second week in a row and next week is my off week. I will also get a CT scan next week that will tell us if my tumors are continuing to shrink with the new Chemo. I’ll be sure and show you some comparative pictures from my previous CT scans.

photo-75.jpg We have lowered my morphine which feels great- my mind is much sharper and today we are going to begin reducing one of my neuropathy medications, gabapentein (neurontin), which I am really excited about since this particular drug really makes me tired. I take it three times a day at the maximum dose so it pretty much keeps me tired all the time. I am hopeful the pain in my feet will not increase and we will be able to continue to reduce this medication next week as well.

I am hopeful my energy level will pick up for the week since we have a lot going on. The former Congressman and Ambasador to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture, Tony Hall, will be with friends here in Seattle and will be speaking at the King County Leadership Breakfast on Friday (Tony Hall). He was nominated three times for the Nobel Peace Prize. Ambassador Tony P.Hall is a leading advocate for hunger relief programs and improving human rights conditions in the world. I am looking forward to having dinner with him tonight along with a few friends and learning as much as possible.

Blessings and have a Wonderful day!
