We love Kauai

Heather and I really love Kauai. It is similar in some ways to Maui 25 years ago or Kona 15 years ago. We have been relaxing and enjoheather-pool-princeville.jpgying the sun and pool. Heather hates to pose but I just love to take pictures of her!

Even though we have only been here 3 days, it has not been without our ongoing medical adventures. Last night I went to the hospital to get fluids and today I was back with an infection at the site of my liver tube. I am back on antibiotics and it reminds me of the week after the liver tube was removed. The good news: I feel pretty good. I am hoping to be able to do more as the days progress.

This afternoon Heather went shopping at Hanalei and found a treasure for Whidbey. I stayed at the hotel and had a medicinal pina colada and took pictures of the sunset.kauai-sunset.jpg

I am hoping to set up a photo journal on the blog in the next few days to share more pictures withprinceville-sunset.jpg you. Heather likes the picture on the left because it shows the beach and grass next to the pool. The picture on the right is one of my sunset photos.

I ask for your ongoing prayers regarding my health while we are here in Kauai.

God is good, all the time, God is good.
