We have been having a great time here at Po’Ipu beach, the southernmost tip of Kauai. The Hyatt is beautiful with flowing pools, lagoons and amazing surf. Yesterday we had our helicopter tour with Inter-Island Helicopters. Heather was not really too excited about the idea. Our flight was in an open door Hughes 500 Helicopter capable of speeds up to 140 mph! In the 2 hour trip we covered the entire island and landed at a remote waterfall for lunch. Fortunately we had a great pilot who flew two tours in Iraq. Heather and I sat up front with the pilot and he made it very smooth and informative the entire trip. The time was amazing and Heather really loved it- especially swimming in the waterfall.

We have added a photo journal to the Blog. You can reach it here or by selecting “PHOTOS” at the top of the page. There are a number of ways to view the photos and you can select from the icons on the bottom left of the photo journal. The easiest is to simply select “slide show”. The pictures below are just a teaser of what appears in the photo journal.

God is good, all the time, maybe a little easier to see in Kauai!

Josiah and I just looked at all the photos – pretty amazing pictures! Josiah is curious as to why you let the parrots land on your arms – he is wondering if the parrots were going to eat your arms? Also, he wanted to see more pictures of you FLYING in the helicopter. As far as he is concerned the whole slide show could have been of the helicopter!
Love you and Miss you…and miss Indie cleaning my floor! 🙂

p.s. Asher has been climbing (falling) out of his crib! He is SO proud of himself!
